- Professional financial experience
as a certified public
accountant. I have worked with large corporations in the Silicon
Valley, as well as individuals and businesses in the San Lorenzo
Valley. (The SLVUSD has a $20 million budget, and I have the
financial background to assist the local schools.)
- A family background in public
education - my mother
was a teacher in the San Lorenzo Valley for 15 years, and I have
three children just beginning their formal education.
- Innovative ideas for increasing enrollment, increasing
revenue, and improving efficiencies to keep money in the classrooms.
- Teamwork and open communication
with parents, teachers,
board members, and the community. I am an active listener, and
will work to bring people together towards a common vision --
excellent public education for our children.
